Yeah, you might think that the Pakistani armed forces suck because of the attacks, but lemme tell you something.
I don't like the idea of having armies and war. But every country needs one or else other greedy countries are more than happy to come take over. My point being that don't mess around with Pakistanis.
So I went to get my NIC made today (that's like the social security card) and I found out how much things have changed. Before, anyone with a 'source' or a high ranking officer got their stuff done first. NOW, you have to wait in line (which you can bypass if you have a cop as your dad) and then wait for your number. The supervisor won't listen to anyone and let them go before their number is called. Yay, no favoritism there. Wish that happened everywhere in Pakistan, right?
The other thing that was awesome was that there was a Deaf guy working there. Now there's a KFC at NIPA which is run totally by Deaf people. They do have a speaking and hearing manager, though, in case there are any problems, but..

I'm not shocked or anything.
Just DELIGHTED at the fact that he was able to work there.
And yes, I spoke to him in Sign Language (Thank you God for giving me the chance to learn that) and I surprised myself by actually having a proper conversation with him about the office and how I knew sign language and stuff. See, it's been two years since I used it so much.
The office workers (apart from the Deaf guy) were really inefficient, though. THAT hasn't changed. ._.
