When I look at you

It's you and me,
I'm going to take you to a whole new level,
Because you mean to much to me,
And I'm turning up the treble.

You light up my world like no one else can,
You make everything seem alright,
You balance all the bad,
You make a tiring day worth it all.

You give me strength when I need you,
You leave me overwhelmed with every passing minute,
I can picture you smiling as I write this,
And I wish I could keep you smiling.

I'm going to soak up all your pain,
Remove your fears,
And everything that the world can throw at you,
I'll stand in front of you and take the blow for you.

I can't breathe without you,
The world is empty and lonely,
I dream about you every night,
And I hope that one day, you'll see..

You're scared of the future, I know,
You're scared I'll leave you and go,
But I am never going to let you go,
And through time and love, I'll prove that to you.

When you're with me,
It's like heaven on earth for me,
You just walked out of my dreams,
You leave me.. breathless.

Every time you take a step back,
I'll take two forward,
One for me, and one for you,
And eventually, you'll take a step forward.

I wanna.. wake up in your arms,
And since we're chasing a dream,
I can only pray,
That our love deepens with every passing year.

Tell me what you want to hear

There's only one thing on my mind right now;

I used to hate life and wanted to end it all. And I was so, so depressed about university and friends and everything. But now, one person balances everything and makes it all worth it. If I ever need strength, I think about her first. If I'm down, then she cheers me up. I'm really thankful to have you in my life, and I really love you.

And I'd like to thank everyone for their.. support in my last post. I thought people would say that I need to go to an asylum, but you guys are really awesome.

Dreams..

So my family is stalking my blog-and they think that it's lame-so I've encrypted this post's text..

To my mom, dad, and brothers, if you're haunting my blog again. I really don't have many friends, and my blog is the only way I have left of expressing how I feel and what's going on in my life. I promise I won't blog about any of you guys, and fine, I can't go to the blogger meet-up, but please.. just don't scroll down. You guys have your friends and people to talk to about stuff, and I have my blog. And if you DO scroll down and read what's on my blog, then I am not going to answer any questions related to it.

If you want to read this post, you can give me your email in the comments, and I'll send you the password :)

Of epic moments.. and exhaustion

These are all thoughts going through my head right now, and if I'm too random, then well..

Later, when she's playing Name Place Animal Thing sitting next to me..
Her-Does Yogi bear count as an animal?

By the way, those of you who read the last two posts about the guy who yells, "Manzoor"
He hasn't yelled it again after that.

I have a really bad cold all of a sudden today and I've just about recovered from today's migraine. Needless to say, I feel.. drained. Exhausted. Like I've been running all day.

And I'm not sleepy. At all. Even though I love sleep and the dreams that come with it..

Oh, and being sick doesn't mean that I get excused from chores and stuff.
Does wonders for my health, I know.

I have a three day weekend. So.. fun, fun, fun?
I really hope so.

I'm looking forward to the blogger meet up.
At least it won't be cancelled because half my friends couldn't come or something.. which has, incidentally, happened four times now. Makes you wonder if they really want to meet me, doesn't it?

I'm addicted to the Script, Lifehouse, and Shayne Ward these days.

And it's my favorite baby cousin's first birthday tomorrow and I'm really excited for it =D
She's the one kid who laughs with me simply because I laugh..

I hope everyone has a happy and blessed weekend <3 And I keep checking my phone for a text from the one who leaves me breathless every minute. Like five times in a minute.

I saved this for now so you read everything =D

You light up my world like nobody else
The way that you flip your hair gets me overwhelmed
But you when smile at the ground it aint hard to tell
You don't know
You don't know you're beautiful

Trips around the world; there's nothing I wouldn't give her

Two wrongs don't make a right, but three lefts do.

My university said yes to my deferment!!!! *Does the happy dance*

So I was singing yesterday.. And my brothers grabbed their cellphones and were recording my.. um.. horrible singing.. and I had no idea until I happened to look left, right into the camera. Needless to say, I almost got a heart attack and had to chase them and get them to delete it.

Before I let you all see the funny pictures, I'd like to congratulate the floodgate of feelings at the floodgate of feelings and Areesha Bilal at My, Myself, and I for their amazing exam results!

When I see your face, there's not a thing that I would change, cause you're amazing, just the way you areee

I wish I could read your mind, find out who and what is bugging you, and then scare the world out of them..

Of dreams, memories, and little babies

This is what I was like at two

Expect to laugh; I was halfway through learning two languages by this time..

I've always tried to capture the innocence of little children and their creativity in a poem, but I was never really able to.

This video-right here-manages to do it so perfectly.. And a shout out to KN at And I Have A Stone-Heart for telling me about it =)

My brother won't accept my friend request on Facebook.

He won't accept my friend request, but he will poke me back.

Younger brothers, you know?

So I watched Ice Age 3-I've given up on horror movies, I don't want to see them in my dreams with the one who leaves me breathless being tortured in them-and I love Saber-tooth tigers.

I want one.

Oh, and if anyone out there plays Golden Gun-which is a lot like Call of Duty-and sees Wild Berry, then stay away or watch out. My brothers usually play the online version, and while one plays, the other watches out for him. So that means that there are two pairs of eyes constantly on alert.
And when I feel that I can take it for five minutes at a stretch, I join them, which usually means that it's really hard to kill our player. Don't. Mess. With. Us.

Now there's this guy in my apartment complex who shouts "Manzoor" (Which is a name and also means 'Do you accept') to someone living above our apartment. We're on the ground floor, by the way.
So since I get really annoyed by some random guy repeatedly yelling that, I asked my dad what I can do. And his idea was to yell "Na Manzoor" (which means I don't accept).
So while I was in the shower today, he yells again.
Whereupon my brother in the other room and I yelled "Na Manzoor" out loud. And he was quiet for two whole minutes, while I cracked up.

And tomorrow is a holiday. Which makes her happy, but I don't get paid, since I get paid per day. But since she's happy, I'm happy.

I'm going to do without the funny pictures in this post. People get too distracted. :p

By the way, The One Who Leaves Me Breathless realized that she does love me. She just.. loves me differently.

Whenever you feel
sadness in your heart
blackness in your eyes
paleness on your face
depression in your thoughts
It shows that you're suffering from a lack of vitamin:
ME.

If your heart is broken, tell me, I'll get the glue
If you're lost in life, call me, I'll come find you
If you're sad, please text me, I'll make you smile
And if you're happy, let me know, we'll celebrate vodka Pepsi style!

All you gotta do
Is close your eyes
Turn around
Look inside
I'm right here
Whenever you need me,
Just call

I don't love the one who is beautiful for my world,
I love the one who makes my world beautiful.

To the world, you might be one person,
But to one person, you are the world..

For everyone:

May good fortune rule over you,
May the stars watch over you,
And may peace live in your hearts.

Even heroes have the right to bleed

Wait. I have to go find some funny pictures first.

*Twenty-seven minutes later*

I found a LOT of funny pictures. XD

This post is filled with unparalleled randomness, as it was going through my head in two hours last night.

Have you guys ever thought of how much we do for our families?
Like on Friday, after the Iftar party, my mom asked my dad and me to get this poster of Quaid-e-Azam that was half on the ground at a roundabout-Do talwar/Two Swords.

I had seen that poster while on the way home from school and it really made me mad that our country's founder's picture was on the ground. And mum decided that she could use it.

So later, my dad stopped right next to a police car at the roundabout. While my brothers kept on asking us not to and that we shouldn't be, I got out, crossed the road through heavy traffic, took down the poster, folded it and crossed the road after one of the cops stopped the traffic for me.

Now, since the cops stopped the traffic for me, that made it legal, right? I'm ignoring the fact that my dad was a senior cop who 'requested' the others to help.
Besides, I would rather take the poster than have it lie on the dirty ground. After all, in America, people would kill rather than let George Washington's picture or their flag even touch the ground.

That's how I justified taking down a picture.

How all that went through my head after I was still deciding what to do with my life, I have no idea. But it was pretty easy to cross a road in speeding traffic, that much I do know.

I love her iphone. Yes, the one who leaves me breathless's Iphone. I don't want an Iphone anymore-I stopped wanting one when the Ipad 2 came out-but hers is just awesome. No idea why.

I'm going to experiment with colors and my moods next week. Usually, I wear clothes depending on what my mood is. Black is sad, Red is loving, Blue is calm, Yellow is bored, and Orange is hyper. Next week, I'm going to wear clothes to change my mood.

I took my painting back from my great-grandmother because she had put it up in the darkest place in her house. I took back my first-ever painting from my grandmother because of the same reason, so now I have.. four paintings. Out of which three were made while I was in seventh and eighth grade. You can see almost all of them here.

My mom said yesterday that I have much more talent than either of my brothers, considering that they can't come up with a decent painting even while they're in eighth and tenth grade.

Viya's post here reminded me of how much I love hoodies and collecting them. I used to have one of every color until I moved to the States.

People collect stamps.. shoes.. cars.. coins.. I collect hoodies.

My cousin and I were having a huge argument yesterday-this cousin is three years older than me and we've been fighting over something or another since we were two. Our wars are.. Epic. And even our parents don't dare get in between when we're arguing. On the other hand, when we're on the same side-which usually lasts around five minutes at the most-we simply bulldoze over everything. So in case she reads this, I just want to say I forgive you for bugging me so much.. bugging me my entire life, that is. I'm saying it here since I'm not going to text you and say it, that takes too much effort.

Aman's post here reminded me of how much I love solitude and sitting on the prayer mat/Jai namaz and talking to Him about everything.
It helps a lot sometimes, and I'd recommend it to anyone who's feeling sad and my pictures don't cheer them up.

I was supposed to go and have my driver's made today, but I was dreaming about the one who leaves me breathless when my alarm rang. I woke up, turned it off, and went back to sleep.

In case you're wondering what the dream was, it was that there were two hundred guys out to find her because she said no to me. And I was standing right next to her, waiting for them.

But yes, so I already have a driver's in America. And I've been driving in Karachi the last three months (this Thursday made it exactly three months since coming back) without a license. My dad, however, has been driving in Pakistan for the last forty years without one. Which shows that I really don't need one. But I want one. You know how that is, right?

Anyway. Whenever a cop pulls our car over when my dad is driving and talking on his phone, they ask him for his license.
First off, he tells them to wait till he's done talking on the phone. It's usually something important, like instructions to his staff.
He tells them he doesn't have a license.
The guy asks for his National Identity Card. Dad says he doesn't have that either.
The guy starts getting frustrated and asks for any type of ID.
Whereupon my dad gives him his police ID.

Which is, in case you didn't notice, really funny. It usually gets him a salute and a sorry Sir.

Considering that yesterday was my first day without Pepsi, I'm shocked that I was able to type so much and still be random.

Before I go for a day or two, here are a few awards for people who really, really deserve them.

Firstly, to Mahnoor at Hopelessly Cluttered Soul

This girl is new to blogger-less than one month old-but her writing is so interesting that I always want to read more. I usually go on her blog every other day to see if there's a new post.

Second, to KN at And I Have A Stone-Heart

She's awesome, yes. That's all I can say.

Next, to the butterfly effect at The buttefly effect

I love her blog. She writes like a published writer. Which reminds me, you need to publish all of it!!!

Last, but not least, to The One Who Leaves Me Breathless.

I love you. And you're the first to come on my blog and read everything, so this is for you..

Oh, and those of you who think I've gone insane, considering the amount of love in my last post.. I'm still me. This post proves it, right?

You're one in a million

I promise you won't feel a thing
Cause everything the world could throw
I'll stand in front; I'll take the blow for you.

Somebody wants you
Somebody needs you
Somebody dreams about you every single night
Somebody can't breathe without you, it's lonely
Somebody hopes that one day you will see
That somebody's me

I will stand by you forever
You can take my breath away

You leave me breathless
You’re everything good in my life
You leave me breathless
I still can’t believe that you’re mine
You just walked out of one of my dreams
So beautiful you’re leaving me breathless

You've been on my mind all day.
It's not even funny.
I'm either wondering what you're doing, or whether I should text you or leave you alone to study and stuff.

Even when I was putting the shelves up, praying Dua, or working on your surprise..

By the way.
Change your pass code from your birthday to mine, please. It took my a second to guess your pass code..
