It's a small world after all

I am not going to talk about the.. um.. daily chaos in our society. So you can read on in peace :)

I'm one of the few people I know who can have a full litre of pepsi and still fall asleep an hour later. I'm not boasting, but.. It's been a while since my parents left me alone with an entire bottle of pepsi. So I celebrated. By having it. :p

In fact, I'll just put in some random facts about me in this post..

1. I don't care how I look or what I wear. I mean, okay, I'll be presentable and clean, but I'm not going to go the extra length of putting on gel and and all that. I. Really. Don't. Care. You can't judge me unless you live my life. So simply looking at me isn't going to help you. At all. Besides, I'm the only person I know of who walks around the apartment complex at 7am in their pajamas. Do I care if people stare at me? No. Do I care if people laugh at me? No.

2. If you laugh at me, I'm going to laugh too. Because my baby cousins laugh at me whenever they see me, so I laugh more.. which makes them laugh. And very few things are as uplifting as a baby laughing in front of you.

3. I think that Rebecca Black can sing, but she desperately needs a new songwriter. Hey-you can't sing, and neither can I (okay, I can sing, but it's going to make you wish you had never heard me).

4. I used to be a nerd once. Depends on your definition of nerd, actually. I'm a books-wala-nerd. Means I love reading fiction. Not the parhai-wala-nerd.

5. I haven't really discovered what the purpose of my life is. I mean, yeah, I still stick around because of my family-the four of them are the only people in the world who have always stood by me and been awesome-but continuously moving around means I don't really get the chance to make awesome friends. And when I do get awesome friends, they move away.. or I move away, so they don't really talk to me much. It also means that I have to keep adjusting.. which is bad for my health. How is it bad? Well, first off, travelling gives me week-long migraines. For the second reason that it's bad for my health, you'll have to look at number seven.

6. My dreams have their own reality. Every single dream is connected. And every dream is like a Star Wars Animated episode. Minus the lightsabers and the technology, though. But still has all the suspense and the fun. Oh, and the surprising fact is that my dreams-whether good or bad-come true if I tell the people they concern about the dream. And if they actually go ahead and do it. Like when I told my dad that he was going to win money that day if he bought three tickets for the lotto, and he actually won fifty dollars from buying three one-dollar tickets. And when I had a dream that I wouldn't get into Stanford. That came true too. But my friend who was supposed to win the lotto grand prize and then buy me a car didn't buy a lotto ticket even when I told her to. Her loss. She could've gone to university with all that money too. My dreams are awesome, yes.

7. I stammer whenever I move to a new place. It's not something that therapy can help. It's a biological reaction that medicine can't prevent either. Relaxing and getting used to everything improves it.. like it did when I went to a new college and when I moved to America too.. and now I have to hurry up and adjust again. So I need another month or two before I can talk on the phone and not stammer at all. Stammering doesn't mean that I'm demented, by the way. Just in case you're getting any ideas. ._.

8. I'm one of the Geniuses who applied to Harvard and didn't get in. That doesn't mean that I'm dumb, by the way. They had twelve seats. Fifteen hundred people applied. That means fourteen hundred and seventy-seven other people didn't get in. And all of those people had the same all-As and 4.0 GPA and leadership stuff.

9. My family sleeps in one room. Hey, we live in a three-bedroom apartment, so my brothers have their own room, my parents have theirs, and I have mine. But since my brothers love me so much, they sleep in my room. And my parents love us all so much that they sleep in my room too. Which means that my stuff gets moved out of the way day by day, but it's worth spending more time with them. After all, you never know what might happen. So I'm enjoying it. They just moved my clothes suitcase to make room for a television, by the way. Ask yourself; could you handle having your family sleep in the same room and move your stuff?

So I went home today in my dad's police van-he borrowed it from a friend for a few days so he can get to work-and if you've seen an older kid sitting in the back of one of those ancient police vans, then congratulations, you've just seen me.

That's the view from the top of the van, by the way.
Yes, we own a house and an apartment.. we've given the house to my cousins to stay in..
Back to the topic, though.. Going home was awesome. Yeah, the house is beyond ancient-it was built by the British in 1872. There's even a stone which has the date and everything.

It has all the medieval arches and fort-style stuff. You know, these ones..

And the barbed wire around it to prevent any dum-dum from trying to come in.

Ah, memories.

So I fasted yesterday, since I keep all the important rozas that I can.. been doing it for two years. Still remember how one of the two friends who were keeping the roza with me forgot she had a roza.. and ate some skittles that a friend offered us. Oh, it was funny to see the expression on her face, even though the circumstances weren't.
And since it's going to be really hot this Ramadan, here's a piece of advice for those of you who take time to adjust to fasting: Start fasting two days early. It's what my dad and I do every Ramadan. Here's what I did while staying up all night and praying, by the way.

Now I'm going to go and finish studying. I finally have internet, so I'm going to take full advantage of it.
