Will you be my chamack chalo?

Hii.

I am happy. Yes, very happy. Even though I miss The One Who Leaves Me Breathless like a lot.

Compare that to how I was yesterday. It was like how the rest of the year had been.

I woke up sad, my friend's dad had passed away, and so I spent time with him. His mum had passed away in January, so he really needed someone to keep checking on him.

But yeah, I went to my great-grandmother's house after that. And I got my camera. Which I had waited a long time for!

My present from mum.

don't say a word
just come over and lie here with me
cause I'm just about to set fire to everything I see

And I just love my camera. It is amazing. And I can finally take awesomer pictures! I've been taking pictures since sixth grade. Using an ancient Fuji camera and my cellphone camera.

This is a picture of a model of the Great Wall that one of my teachers got me.

See how amazing my pictures turn out to be?
Where was I? Oh, yeah. How yesterday was.

My last day of being Eighteen was.. okay. Did I already say that?
Anyway.

I played cricket. Something I haven't done in years. Like a proper game with my brothers. Since I love soccer.
And I listened to music for most of the day.

Girl you are my chammak challo.
Where you go girl, I'm gonna follow.
What you want girl just let me know.
You can be my chammak challo.

My baby cousin was dancing to Chammak Challo and that reminded me of Aral and Ayza. Aral and Ayza are, by the way, the two babies that I dream about and will, with God's will and blessing, see one day.
Which reminds me, I was missing The One Who Leaves Me Breathless so much that I actually forgot I was turning nineteen soon.

And today?
Today was.. new. different. a new experience. But then it's the new experiences that make life worthwhile, don't they?

I thought that my beloved was asleep, since she had a very exhausting day. She surprised me, and really made my day.

I was praying at that time-for her, yes-and it's something I do on every birthday when the clock strikes twelve. I pray. There is no better way to start the new year, is there?

I slept quite a bit. And texted a lot. And ordered Dunkin, since my friends forgot it was my birthday and told me they couldn't come to hang out at Dunkin Donuts.

And above all, I took pictures with my new camera. It's the best feeling ever. The third best feeling after being loved and knowing that there is a God above.

Forgiven. :)

Therefore, so far, my nineteenth birthday has gone.. okayish.
The One Who Leaves Me Breathless, I love you and miss you soo much.

I really hope that this is as random as my posts used to be.

I dream about you all the time

this is my December
this is my time of the year
this is my December
this is all so clear.

This is my seventieth post with The One Who Leaves Me Breathless having her own tag.

I find it awesome. Why? It just feels that way.

What's going on these days? Exams. I had my first ever invigilation today. And I'll let something out here and only here.
I was nervous during it.
No idea why.
Probably thought I'd mess up somehow.

Guess what?
I didn't mess up. Feels so unbelievably good.

Which reminds me. The teachers at my school have an annual badminton tournament. And it started today. So wish me luck :)

And exams remind me of one more thing. Yeah, we all hate teachers who pick on us and are strict or whose teaching styles we don't understand. But all those teachers put in soo much effort that as of yesterday, after watching them work on their exam papers and make it easier and smoother to have the exams, I respect every single one of them.

Yeah, I respected them already, but now it's like.. Like I understand why those teachers are like the way they are. I don't think I'm making sense, but the feeling makes sense to me, so (Y).

Cause when I needed a place to hang my heart
You were there to wear it from the start
And with every breath of me, you'll be the only light I see

I went to my doctor last week and got a new medicine. It is TINY. And it's supposed to take two weeks before it starts working properly.
But today is Day Twelve of this migraine.
There's only one person-yes, The One Who Leaves Me Breathless-who keeps me going.
I love you, you awesome person.

Tay Tay at My love/hate relationship with the world had a competition a long time ago where she gave us two prompts and we could write on either.
I picked 'Cake or Pie.'
Trust me, my short story was funny.
At least I think it was (Y).

The '(Y)' is an influence from The One Who Leaves Me Breathless. :D

And here's what I wrote:

"Hey, you there!"

"Tum, haan, tum!" (You, yes you!)

My friends and I stopped walking and turned around to see who was yelling at us. I was the Head Boy and Student Council President at my school, so it was rare for someone to scream 'you' instead of my name. My friends were Prefects-students who are elected to enforce the rules and get a few perks in exchange for doing duty during recess. The Head Boy is the student who watches over the Prefects, so you get the idea of how and why almost everyone in my high school knew me.

It was one of the new students in school. He had seemed like a polite and shy student initially, but he quickly fell in with the daredevils of the school. And since he was new, I hadn't had time to add his name to my extensive list of names.

I didn't merit his yell with a yell on my own. Instead, I raised one eyebrow.. like my school's principal does.

Now it takes a lot to surprise me. I live in a country which is at war with terrorists. My city has more gang violence and mugging than New York and Shanghai combined. So I usually know what to do when someone gets hurt badly, when there's an accident, when a friend's car is stopped by the side of a road and he's standing next to it, or when something happens.

I wasn't prepared for this, though.

"Pick! Cake or Pie?"

He was holding a vanilla cake in one hand. A small one. And there was an.. apple pie in the other hand.

Now why someone would offer me cake or pie without having laced it with poison is beyond me.

"Cake."

I wanted to see how much he would ask me to pay for it.

He walked over-until he was a pace away-and asked me to repeat it, he couldn't hear me.

"Cake.."

I was in for yet another shock.

"SPLAT!!!!"

Yes, it was thrown at my face.

Right. On. My. Face.

Well, it tasted good.

Staring out into the sounds
Maybe it was all true
Maybe it was from the start
The story of a broken heart
Stand up and I'll tell you
Now everything was torn apart

Have an amazing weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I saw your face, and that's the last I've seen of my heart

The title is from You are the woman by Firefall, yes.

It's you, and me
Moving at the speed of light.

I'm smiling right now.
I needed a reason to smile. And Naked Reality at Naked Reality made me smile.

So today I read this post about how people don't know if they are loved or needed.
You never know what may happen tomorrow. The person whom you like may get sick. Or you might. Hey, this is life. So tell them that you love them. Yeah, even your family. You won't regret not telling them that way.

Oh, and I read another post about love marriages and arranged marriages. And these websites like singlemuslim.com and God knows what others there are.
In February, a friend of mine was telling me and a few other friends how she wants to get married between 21 and 23, have two boy twins first, two girl twins next, and then no babies for a while. Oh, and her husband must know how to cook and clean the house and listen to her.
So we (okay, it was my idea) made her an account on singlemuslim.com and put all that into her Bio.
The emails we got made us laugh until we decided to delete the account before someone found it and went crazy. But.. I just go LOL whenever I remember that.

Right, so that was random, yes, but it was sensible randomness. I think I just created a new term.

Just shoot for the stars
If it feels right
And aim for my heart
If you feel like.

I'm addicted to Maroon 5's Moves Like Jagger right now.

So I have an exam tomorrow. And I'm off from work/school till Tuesday, so I can concentrate on online classes now. Yay, I think.

Surprise!!!!!
I'm using my Nokia Nuron camera to take pictures now. I love Nokias, yes, and Imma use this camera till I get a decent one on my birthday.
Yes, I'm patient to wait. :)

Wherever you go,
Whatever you do,
I will be right here waiting for you.

Ji, that's from a classic song. My parents have these two Cd's of classic songs that they made for each other. And so I learnt all these classics by heart. Depressing songs, some of them, but still love songs.

Oh, and yes. I watch Star Wars: Clone Wars: Animated and Young Justice. They are cartoons, yes, but they make more sense to me than the Simpsons. Oh, and they really take your mind off things. I can't always read the entire day.

Next post, I'm going to post a sound clip of me playing Kiss The Rain by Yiruma on the piano.
It's also knows as Bella's Lullaby.
And I learnt how to play the piano just so that I could play that song for you, you who are The One Who Leaves Me Breathless.

Good night & I hope everyone has a safe and fun weekend!

Oh Girl, You stand by me..

I love Faithfully. I know I've heard it sometime before, but Boyce Avenue's cover is stuck in my head.

Sometimes, I just feel like driving. But my mom decided that she would drive today. Oh well.

So I poured water all over the staff room table today. I was pouring water into a glass-and I was standing near the door-and I looked up to see The One Who Leaves Me Breathless.
Don't laugh yet, okay?

It's rare for my mind to go blank. I can usually control my thoughts better. But it went blank this time, and I was just staring. I ended up pouring water away from the glass and not realizing it until it dripped onto the floor.
Yes, I had to hurry up and clean it up.

That's one of the three interesting things that happened today.

The second one was when I turned my laptop on in the staff room and played Sean Paul's She Doesn't Mind after plugging in my earphones.
Now everyone knows that there are two ports, one for the mike, and one for the earphones.
I usually double check that I plug them into the right place. This was, by the way, two minutes after the above incident.
I plugged them in, and I'm listening to the song happily, before I realized that the sound was coming from the laptop and not from the earphones. Yes, I had plugged them into the mike port. And that song isn't the best one to play in a staff room.
You can imagine what happened next.

The third interesting thing was what some children in my mom's class wrote.
The topic was 'donations.' They had just donated some stuff for The Flood Relief effort.
Here's the best one. "I donated my teacher."

The other topic was 'energy conservation' and how conserving means to save.
"I conserved Hasan today when he was falling."

Circus life
Under the big top world
We all need the clowns to make us smile.

I think that's pretty much all I have to say for today. Oh, wait! I made something for you. Just for you.
I was going to give it to you, but you were busy.. And I hate interrupting. So, here. Hope you like it :o

I hate the quality of my pictures. These are the best out of five images.

Through space and time
Always another show
Wondering where I am
Lost without you

My Midnight Sun

I'm addicted to Boyce Avenue's cover of Faithfully by Journey.
It. Is. An. Amazing. Song.
And an even better cover of the song!

Thank you to The One Who Leaves Me Breathless for telling me about it.

Oh girl
You stand by me
I'm forever yours.. Faithfully.

Soo today, I woke up. That sounds wrong.
I woke up early. Still sounds wrong.
I woke up early today. Much better,
I woke up early today, which was strange for me on a Sunday. Yes, perfect.

Anyway. My great-grandmother (Masha Allah, SubhanAllah, yes, I have a great-grandmother) was staying over and already awake (she kept waking up till 2 a.m. to tell me to sleep) and as soon as she saw my head move, she made me get up and turn the TV on for her, which I was happy to do as long as I could check my phone first.

Wondering where I am
I'm lost without you.

And I went to my other house in the morning-I needed to check our car and see if my dad had missed anything that needed to be fixed. And I had time to walk around and stuff.

I tell you, it's not a fun feeling to be nostalgic and look around and miss your dogs. And see their empty cages, filled with dust. And see the chair that you used to sit on and text all day. And the alley that you used to pace while talking on the phone with your friends. And the places where you used to study.. where your bookshelves used to be. Where I sat on the Jai Namaz and texted and had my heart broken. Where I got my first pet. Where I cooked for the first time. The feeling of opening and closing the house gates after so long. And, of course, the thoughts and memories that cascaded and would have overwhelmed me had I not prayed for so long today.

Anywhere you go
I'll be by your side.

It's so easy to let the words flow. I haven't done this in a while. All this randomness.
I'm helping my brother with math. So I can't focus on homework. Did I mention that before? I think I did. If I didn't, it was probably when I texted her.

Anyway.
I love my dreams. I hate nightmares, yes, but I love dreaming of her.. and the two other little ones who've given me so much hope and so much to work all the more harder for. If you don't know who I'm talking about, you need to read this post. I'm itching to yell out their names right now. But that would be a bad idea. I would have to explain to my parents who they are. And where they are right now. And that would take me a few hours. And then I'd have to stay up all night and do homework. No, not a good idea.

I JUST FEEL LIKE YELLING IT OUT LOUD!!!

Oh girl
You stand by me
I'm forever yours.. Faithfully.

I got some good news today that gives me hope. Property isn't as expensive as I thought it would be.
I've missed being this random!

Here's a shout out to a few people, and these are those who have amazing, amazing, amazing blogs and deserve to have more followers than I do.

But first.
The One Who Leaves Me Breathless. You. Yes, you. (I learnt that from her. Love doing it now.) You are amazing. Thank you for being in my life. I wouldn't be alive today if it wasn't for you. Yes, really. You saved my life. And saving a life is like saving all humanity. You're going to Paradise now, Insha Allah :D

Ateeq Mughal, Daaneiia, Furree, Mahnoor, Areesha, Ezazi, and Hamza. I wouldn't have made it here with so many wonderful followers without the three of you. Thank youuu :D
